Fifteen years ago, inspired by the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Development Gateway emerged as an independent organization. As we reflect on what has been achieved and what has been learned, and prepare for the next fifteen SDG years, our mission to empower practitioners, governments, and citizens with the knowledge they need to improve lives is even more relevant today.

Participants identified two key recommendations for advancing digital agriculture in order to increase food security.
DG’s Open Contracting Portal Designated as a Digital Public Good
Digital Public Goods Alliance designated DG’s Open Contracting Portal as a digital public good in September 2022. The Portal provides procurement analytics that can be used to improve procurement efficiency and, in turn, reduce corruption and increase impact.
