Mbaita Maka

Mbaita is the Tobacco Control Data Initiative as the Zambia Country Lead and Data Analyst for TCDI Zambia research. She is a development finance specialist with experience in developing and implementing sustainable solutions to address barriers to access to social services. Mbaita has worked extensively in health financing, particularly in the areas of public financial management and performance measurement. She has also provided support towards the successful scale-up of planning and budgeting reform the implementation of results-based financing.

Mbaita holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Capetown.
