Anna Chewter

Anna Chewter is a Program Coordinator on DG’s programs team. Anna has a master’s degree in African Studies from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in economics, international studies, and French from the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining DG, Anna worked in various research roles focused on economic development and human rights across sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked with grassroots NGOs based in East Africa focused on community development, civic engagement, and career training. Anna currently serves as a board member for an NGO located in Uganda.

In her free time, Anna spends time working on her surface design portfolio. She enjoys art, crafting, music, learning, listening to audiobooks, trying out new coffee shops, spending time with friends and family, rock climbing, skiing, and traveling.
