Dorcas Jalang’o

Dorcas is the Kenya Country Lead for the Soil Nutrient Roadmap (SNR) program. She is an Agricultural specialist with almost a decade of experience in managing and implementing agricultural projects across East and Southern Africa under the thematic areas of sustainable land management, climate-smart agriculture, resilient food systems, and climate finance. Dorcas has led multi-stakeholder engagement and policy processes. She has technical expertise in program management and building strategic partnerships.

Dorcas holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Economics major) from the University of Nairobi, with additional certifications in public policy analysis, disaster risk management, and women’s leadership in agriculture and climate research. She is fluent in English and Swahili, with basic proficiency in French. Known for her strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, Dorcas is passionate about driving inclusive, evidence-based agricultural transformation in Africa.
