Sa’eda is an education data and systems specialist with 17 years of experience leading national projects at the intersection of education, technology, and policy. Her work bridges the technical and human dimensions of data, empowering ministries, educators, and institutions to use information strategically for improved decision-making and learning outcomes.
In her role as Senior Technical Specialist, Sa’eda works with complex data systems, making the connections between data system requirements and user needs. She identifies opportunities and challenges of digital solutions, championing open-first, inclusive, agile, and sustainability-oriented approaches to tech development. In her role, Sa’eda is also exploring the potential of AI to augment and improve education outcomes in Jordan.
Before joining Development Gateway, Sa’eda served as National Project Officer at UNESCO Jordan, where she led the reform of Jordan’s Education Management Information System (EMIS), including GIS platforms. She coordinated multi-donor initiatives and provided strategic support to the Ministry of Education in data governance and systems institutionalization.
Sa’eda holds a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Fluent in Arabic and English, she is passionate about advancing data use in education, fostering digital innovation, and promoting equitable access to quality learning opportunities.
