Wakini Njogu

Wakini Njogu is the Strategic Communications Lead, providing expertise and overseeing the communication functions in line with the DG’s strategic priorities. Previously, she served as the Senior Communications Associate for Programs, helping DG programs and projects to expand their visibility and communication impact.

Prior to joining DG, Wakini consulted on digital rights-related projects for various international organizations. Her most notable work includes conducting research on internet shutdown landscapes in different countries and delivering Network Measurement for Internet Shutdown Advocacy training to civil society organizations and journalists.
