UNICEF Data for Children Landscape Diagnostics
Since 2017, DG has worked across seven countries and two regions to support the roll-out of UNICEF’s Data for Children Strategic Framework. This included developing country ecosystem diagnostics and strategic action plans for UNICEF Country Offices in Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand, Viet Nam, Lesotho, and Ethiopia; and for the UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office.

Understanding Government Data Use in Nepal
Development Gateway, in partnership with DFID Nepal, conducted a detailed study of government data use in Nepal. Drawing on the perspectives of 60+ government officials, donor staff, CSO operatives, and academics, we tried to paint a picture of the government data “ecosystem” in Nepal. This report aims to provide useful insight for both Government of Nepal (GoN) and the development data community at large.
