Global Prize for IT Benefiting Youth in Developing Countries

The Development Gateway Foundation is calling for nominations for its US$100,000 prize for outstanding achievement in the use of information and communication technologies to improve lives in developing countries. World Bank Contributes $2 Million to Development Gateway Foundation

The World Bank has contributed $2 million to the Development Gateway Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides Internet-based solutions to strengthen governance and improve aid effectiveness in developing countries. Morocco to Deploy Electronic Government Procurement System with Support of Development Gateway, Government of Italy, and World Bank

The Government of Morocco has agreed to partner with the Development Gateway Foundation and the Government of Italy to deploy a new e-government system that will streamline public procurement processes, increase competitive bidding and save money for Moroccan taxpayers.
