Efrem has more than 14 years of experience in non-government, private, and public sector development programs in Ethiopia. In his past positions, Efrem managed and supported complex, multi-year development projects in different capacities including planning, designing, and managing. His past projects have focused on agriculture, agribusiness, private sector development, and youth empowerment and employment for GIZ, Mercy Corps, Mastercard Foundation, Mendez England Associates, and Agricultural Transformation Institute.
Efrem is bilingual (English-Amharic-Oromiffa) and has an MBA from the International Leadership Institute; M.Sc in Project Planning and Management from Debre Markos University; and a BA in Business Management from Jimma University. He is also a Certified Project Manager from the American Project Management Institute.
