Hamadoun Cisse, CPA

Hamadoun leads DG’s Finance Department, spanning internal finances and external client accounts. His central goal is to ensure all funds are spent properly, and that DG continues to provide accurate and auditable financial reports to stakeholders. He focuses on risk mitigation, executing cost savings, enhancing accuracy, and ensuring reported results comply with regulations and generally accepted accounting principles. He also supports DG’s tactical initiatives, focusing on the financial aspects of program delivery to ensure that project managers have clear and timely information on the financial status of their projects.

Originally from Mali, Hamadoun previously worked with UNDP in Burkina Faso. He holds a CPA license from the Virginia Board of Accountancy and a Masters in Information Systems Technology Management from The George Washington University.
